- For the quest, see [50] The Engine of Nalak'sha.
The Engine of Nalak'sha is part of a titan structure spanning the entirety of Pandaria. There are many ways to reach it, such as via the Mogu'shan Vaults in Kun-Lai Summit, or the hidden chambers beneath Mogu'shan Palace in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.[1] The facility, along with its protector Ra-den, were discovered by Lei Shen who was able to defeat the keeper and claim some of his power for himself.[2] The mogu salvaged and repurposed this technology to further advance their empire[3] and used this extraordinary machine to shape flesh and stone into new living creatures.[4]
History[]
Mists of Pandaria[]
Elegon watches over this device defending it from anyone that should not be there.
Battle for Azeroth[]
When the forces of N'Zoth threatened the world, Magni Bronzebeard and a champion of Azeroth rerouted the Engine's power to the Forge of Origination as part of a plan to use the device against the Old God.[5]
Notes[]
- The term Nalak means something in either the Titan tongue or Mogu language, probably "Serpent."[6]
- Lei Shen accessed its power from the Thundering Mountain during the Age of a Hundred Kings.[citation needed]
