Akama is one of the five Exarchs, leaders of draenei society under the prophet Prophet Velen. He leads the Vindicators, serving as high vindicator.[1]

Background[]

Akama is first seen in Lunarfall where he and Vindicator Maraad struck a deal for supplies from Elodor. The two escorted Alliance workers to town but only Akama's group arrived. Akama went back and found Maraad's caravan ambushed by the Shadowmoon clan. While the Vindicator's group continued to the town, Akama stayed to fend off the attackers and eventually returned too. Maraad was concerned with the raising threat of the Iron Horde and Akama sent him to the Exarch Council. The vindicator spoke about an alliance between the Lunarfall and the draenei. The council was postponed when Hataaru was found dead. Akama was against communicating with his spirit. Eventually the betrayal was revealed and the Alliance with the draenei began officially working. Some time later the Iron Horde attacked Karabor and Akama defended the temple. He soon teamed up with the adventurers who helped to repel the invasion.

He was a part of Yrel's trial and tasked her with killing the fury Everburn in Frostfire Ridge. Her final task was to defeat Akama and the other Exarchs.

He later accompanied the Exarchs and the Alliance army at the Gates of Tanaan confronting Warchief Grommash Hellscream after the death of Azuka Bladefury.

He is ultimately seen with the other Exarchs in Karabor as the naaru K'ara blesses the Alliance commander and his or her legendary ring.
