History[]

The Burning Crusade[]

In his own words, Jorin declared that he and his fellow Mag'har were survivors, survivors of fallen dynasties, survivors of the Red pox, and survivors of a shattered world. Thus suggesting that he was amongst the orcs afflicted with the red pox and subsequently quarantined in Nagrand. In time, Jorin becomes known as the Warchief of the Bleeding Hollow clan.

By the time of the invasion of Outland, the Bleeding Hollow village was destroyed by ogres of the Boulderfist clan who struck the village in the dead of night. Jorin escaped certain death and arrived at Garadar in search of aid. However Garrosh Hellscream refused to provide any assistance, as he had fallen into pessimism and despair over the fact that Greatmother Geyah was ill and that he was being looked at to serve the Mag'har's next leader, fearful that he would commit the mistakes of his father.[1] Not deterred by Hellscream's despair, Jorin sent Kilrath to scout the ruins of their former home and sent Horde adventurers to seek him out and provide assistance.[2]

As adventurers clashed against the ogres, they discovered that the Boulderfist had attacked the Bleeding Hollow as a result of seeking a new home after being pushed out of Nagrand by the Warmaul and that the Boulderfist had a new leader; Lantresor of the Blade.[3] Upon being informed of this, Jorin was unimpressed and questioned if Hellscream acting as an impotent whelp was a contributing factor in the ogres' decision to attack.[4] He subsequently informed his Horde allies that ogres were moved by one thing: Might. Thus he ordered them to deliver a message to the Boulderfist with the only message that they were capable of understanding: Brutality.[5]

After slaying a number of Boulderfist, he instructed adventurers to serve as an envoy to Lantresor and request that he pull back his ogres.[6] After the envoy and Lantresor came to an agreement and worked together, he decided to honor Jorin's request and sent a peace offering.[7]

The Kosh'harg - chieftains

Jorin, Farseer Aggra, and his fellow orc chieftains.

Jorin and his Bleeding Hollow were among the orcs that attended the first Kosh'harg on Azeroth at Razor Hill, with Jorin remarking that this was his first time visiting Durotar and Orgrimmar. Meanwhile, Ariok of the Blackrock clan stated his intent to question Jorin if the Bleeding Hollow had a cure for the blood magic ritual that turned him into a Dire orc during the incursion into Tanaan Jungle. Though it is unknown if such a conversation took place.

What is known is that as the clan leaders gathered inside of the Razor Hill Barracks to pitch their clan to prospective orcish recruits; Jorin remarked on how his clan is known for performing rituals that many would consider dark, that they didn't shy away from such tools, and that they know what fate has in store them and will do what they must to survive. Upon the champion requesting to join the Bleeding Hollow, Jorin stated that he had underestimated them.[8] He subsequently instructed them with hunting, tracking, and killing Gor'krosh, the Long Knives, without their armor, in order to test their skills in battle.[9] Following their success, Jorin accepted the Inv misc eagleclaw blue ["Long Knife"] as a trophy on behalf of his clan.[10]

During the feast celebrating orc champions for completing the om'gora, Jorin sat with the clan, where he revealed to them his intention to unify the clan and move them to Azeroth, as he recognized the future of the orcs being on Azeroth.[11] As the Kosh'harg festival neared its ends, Jorin cheered orc champions as the champion of their people.[12]
