Kelmarin was a high elf ranger who served under Sylvanas Windrunner's command during the Third War. He was one of the three scouts sent to investigate the Scourge army, the other two being Sheldaris and Vor'athil. While the other two had waited for Sylvanas to come with the bulk of the rangers, he returned to Sylvanas to inform her about the approaching army. Sylvanas knew him well, and knew his information was always accurate and detailed.
