Blaumeux likely represents the "Rider of Famine", based on her black color scheme.

Trivia[]

The Four Horsemen TCG

Blaumeux, riding the red horse instead of her original coloration.

  • Blaumeux is voiced by Kath Soucie.
  • An unused NPC representing a modern version of Lady Blaumeux was added roughly at the same time as matching versions of the three other original Horsemen, all presumably meant to appear in World of Warcraft: Legion. She and these other NPCs didn't make it out of the Legion alpha stage.
  • Her armor is closer to a female version of the armor of the death knights of the old Horde rather than the Scourge's designs.
  • Wrath of the Lich King added an unused coloration of Blaumeux that uses a red coloration instead of her usual blue-black coloration. This may have been due to the removal of Alexandros Mograine as a horseman, replaced with Baron Rivendare; who shared a coloration with Blaumeux. This was likely an attempt to keep the original color scheme of the Horsemen intact, but was scrapped before launch. Attempting to load the texture will load the horse correctly as well as parts of Mograine's armor and Blaumeux's hair, but her face will not load correctly. As several of the textures are recolors of Blaumeux's unique texture pack, this was not unintentional. This coloration was also used as part of TCG artwork for the new Four Horsemen, where Blaumeux's horse is now red, though she is still wearing her original armor.

Speculation[]

This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

It is possible that Blaumeux didn't meet her final death, just like Baron Rivendare.[3]
