Raj Naz'jan was the emperor of Riplash when Leviroth was imprisoned. Queen Azshara herself blessed his trident so it would slay the beast should it ever escape.

• Raj may be his title, similar to the titles of Rajah Haghazed and Rajis Fyashe that follow a similar scheme, being derived from Raj.
• Raj is oddly described as an emperor while still subservient to Azshara, who is a queen, which is a lower peerage title.
• Raj Naz'jan appears as a legendary Hunter minion in the Voyage to the Sunken City expansion for Hearthstone. His flavor text reads: "“When you play the Coin, he deals emotional damage.”"
