The Shattered Strand
The Shattered Strand is a coastal area in Azshara, lining the north side of the Bay of Storms. It is densely populated by hydras, sea giants, makrura and murlocs. The strand is also the location of the Temple of Arkkoran and the Tower of Eldara.
With the events of the Shattering and the arrival of the goblins in Azshara, the once remote Shattered Strand became the site of many battles between the Bilgewater Battalion and the Spitelash naga. Some goblins also took advantage of the wealth of beach front property and engaged in real estate speculation here.
During the Burning Legion's invasion, the strand falls under the Legion's control. Several naga were killed while the Horde troops continued to battle the demons.
