This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Elemental Plane article.

The concept of the inverted world seems to be inspired by the "hollow earth" style world; http://www.randi.org/encyclopedia/images/Hollow%20Earth%20theory.jpg, maybe? Baggins 17:10, 12 July 2006 (EDT)

Elementalplane

Elemental Place interpretation by Baggins

Shouldn't there be an elemental leader of Frostland? Also, since there are only four domains, does that make the theory of only four Old Gods stronger?  Rolandius Wc3Knight (talk - contr) 05:24, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
No. The Old Gods and the Elemental Lieutenants are different, and there has never been any evidence that the Old Gods were tied to a specific element, nor that the Elemental Lieutenants each served a different Old God. Also, Frostland is part of the Abyssal Maw, and thus under the domain of Neptulon. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 06:14, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Okay they aren't tied to a specific element, but in the Elemental Plane they each rule thier respective elements.  Rolandius Wc3Knight (talk - contr) 06:28, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Those are the Elemental Lieutenants, not the Old Gods. The Old Gods are trapped beneath Azeroth. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 08:00, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Isn't the Elemental Plane within Azeroth? Since it is a "hollow earth" style world.  Rolandius Wc3Knight (talk - contr) 09:10, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

No. The Elemental Plane isn't another world, it's an entirely separate plane of existence, created by the titans as a prison for the Old Gods' elemental servants.--Austin P (talk) 02:08, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

So recently, someone brought up the info in this page at our forum and I couldn't help but notice that both the citations and the picture contradict what is stated on Shadows & Light about the Elemental Plane. To see my idea of what the description in the book meant (which seems to be agreed upon by other posters) go here [1] and check the post with the pictures. Read further to actually read the S&L description in a post by Zula. So, with this in mind, I propose that the info and the picture on this page be removed and new, correct ones put in their place. Comments?--Wulfang SoL (talk) 02:17, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm not even sure how that got green flagged to go up on the page. Regardless of anything else it should be removed. If you'd like to update the article with the correct old info, reword it to past tense terms and expand on it's new status, feel free, otherwise i'll do it myself later.Warthok Talk Contribs 03:57, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
