Table formatting[]

If someone has an eye for tables, could you please take a look at my code.... I jacked with it for a bit, and it never came out looking right. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lewzephyr (talk · contr).

Done :) Hope you don't mind the colour changes, just trying to keep things consistent with the other tables.

For future reference, there's also the Wiki syntax [1] you can use, which is what we're trying to do on the simpler pages. Most of it is made even easier if you can use the WoW Wiki templates at Wiki Template Index#Table Rows - although that obvisously wouldn't work here. See for example Spell shadow ritualofsacrifice [Sinister Strike] for an example using that. Hope that helps a bit - just ask if there's anything else you get stuck on :) Welcome aboard!

Looks great.... and I appreciate the links to help me out, I attempted to use the editing help link below, but it was a little empty on the using tables area. Thanks for your assistance. -- Lewzephyr 3:34

Pet happiness/experience[]

I think that pets *do* gain experience before they hit loyalty level three, just very very slowly. --Jrr 22:08, 26 August 2006 (EDT)

Pet experience[]

They recieve full experience for all kills as soon as they are tamed. I did extensive testing to measure this rate through differing loyalty levels. They do not recieve any experience if they are equal in level to you not matter what their loyalty level is. They also recieve no experience for quests, discovering areas, and do not get the rested bonus. --Dga 13:00, 22 November 2006 (EST)

Actually Taming pets[]

just a quick question, im a n00b to WoW (only had it a few days) and im a hunter, i cant seem to find the skill tame pet, where can i get it from or am i being blind :P --A Glitch 18:43, 1 February 2007 (EST)

Ummmmm.... Are you level 10? If you aren't, you need to be level 10 to tame anything. If you ARE, then you need to go to your hunter trainer in your area and complete the quests. Fragment 18:07, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Non-tameable table[]

Moonkins aren't beasts, but humanoid. They shouldn't be part of the table. --Lynos 20:42, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Additionally, I don't know why Ghost Sabers are listed as untamable; it's certainly not the case.

Do we really need an untamable table specific to each zone? Why not just provide a list of beasts that can be tamed, like the tamable beasts category? WoWWiki-Presea (talk) 17:29, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

A question added to this page since 15 years ago[]

Do you know any other beasts that attempt to run away instead of attacking you when you try to tame them other than gazelles? FenneKindleFire (talk) 18:06, 23 September 2023 (UTC)
