I stumbled upon your section on PCJ discussion page. The reason for the font to be so small is the amount of '=' in the header. If you'll reduce the amount bye one it will be of normal size again. If you want to modify the size you can also use -span style="font-size:the number you want%;"-Insert your text-/span-. Only instead of - use < and >. Hopefully this helps

Regarding the part about "the way you'd envisioned the site" and such, User:Egingell pointed out on Pcj's talk page that you don't really need to worry about stepping on toes.
