Updating pages[]
It depends on how substantially the subject of the article has been changed. If it has been removed from the game, use {{removedfromgame}}. If changes are slight, re-arrange the article with the Cataclysm information taking precedence, and the old information being delegated to a section. If the changes are drastic and little to none of the old information applies, move the old page to a disambiguated page and keep the Cataclysm content on the new page. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you. --Pcj (T •C ) 21:01, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! I found the template about 45 seconds after I left the message on your page. /facepalm -- Metaneira (talk) 21:02, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, remove the other categories unless it's also a lore article - that is, particularly for NPCs that transcend WoW and appear in other sources. --Pcj (T •C ) 21:27, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
To be a little more specific on this topic, if you know the patch number for which the topic of the article was removed, it would be helpful to add that to the removedfromgame template. Example {{removedfromgame|patch=4.0.3a}}
. (which is the cataclysm patch). (Sssss/Slithered) 21:54, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
